Oyo Assembly Majority Leader’s Son Dies in Tragic Auto Crash

Faith Adedoyin, the son of the Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Mr. Sanjo Adedoyin, lost his life in a fatal auto crash.

Faith Adedoyin, a 500-level Accounting student at Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, was returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State when the accident occurred.

The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday evening, around Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo in Osun State. The exact circumstances leading to the accident are still under investigation.

The legislators, through a statement released by the Chair of the House Committee on Information and Public Affairs, Waheed Akintayo, have expressed their condolences to the family and encouraged them to accept the situation as God’s will.

The statement partially reads: “We received the news of his passing with profound sadness, yet with acceptance of the divine will of the Almighty God, whose wisdom is beyond our comprehension.

“Speaking on behalf of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, and other distinguished members, we pray for divine comfort and strength for the Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, and his entire family to endure this irreplaceable loss.

“We want you to know that our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. We wish you and your family strength and peace in this period of grief.”
